The Leica Digitex 100t Signal Transmitter 795946 assists the Leica Digicat 550i and 650i utility locators in locating underground pipes or cables that do not have a live, electrical current. The Digitex makes this possible by transmitting a signal that the Digicat can detect.

Durable and Waterproof

The Digitex can transmit a signal through a pipe or cable by connecting its alligator clamp directly to a valve, stop tap, or other access point. 

Antenna Induction

If direct connection is not an option for your job, then you can simply induce the Digitex's signal through the ground into a buried pipe or cable by using its built-in antenna.

Purchase a signal clamp to take advantage of the Digitex's third mode of signal transmission. Using a signal clamp, you can apply the Digitex 100t signal to a pipe or live electricity cable. This option prevents the utility service from being interrupted by the Digitex signal. It also protects you from being exposed to a live utility.

This portable and versatile signal transmitter can operate effectively while its case is opened or closed. While open, the Digitex has an IP rating of 54. While closed, its IP rating is 65.
